This pages contains notes about the idea of categorizing every wiki page with a type that will be used in workflows, alerts, reports, gamification, reminders, leader boards, etc.  It would add the most value if I made a mandatory rule that every page must have one and only one type classification.

When new users create their wikis, they will have two options (perhaps more in the future):

** Notes associated with a particular output, such as an article, presentation, research paper, or event.
** Projects can have phases: Gathering Information, Actively Working, On Hold, Archived, Completed
What do you think of the idea of assigning a label or classification tag to every wiki page?  What do you think about the categories, names, descriptions, and examples?  Please elaborate in any way you think would be beneficial to the overall project?  Does MediaWiki have any existing extensions that could be used for this?

Please create a new wiki based on demo.goalstriving.org that enforces page properties and uses dynamic content.  Assign each of the properties in the table above to the pages.  The slug should be para, and the users with demo access should have the same level of access to para.


* Active: the default status for all pages
Please remove the page histories from demo and para, and also the redirect links that were created when pages were renamed.
** For a Study note, this would indicate you are currently reading the book or taking the course
* Pending:
** All pages with type = Capture will have Status = Pending
** Study notes for planned or potential learning
** Project notes for projects you are spending less than one hour per week
* Completed: only used by Study and Project notes
* Archived: pages you don't expect to edit or reference ever again; by default these are not included in searches
